AEW Revolution is heading to North Carolina.
During the November 29 episode of AEW Dynamite, Tony Schiavone, Sting, and Ric Flair announced that Sting’s final pro wrestling match at AEW Revolution will take place at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Sunday, March 3. Tickets go on sale on Friday, December 8.
Sting took part in a number of matches at the Greensboro Coliseum throughout the 1980s and 1990s as part of the NWA and WCW. His most famous Greensboro match was a 45-minute time limit draw against Ric Flair for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship at the first-ever Clash of the Champions in 1988.
The WWE Hall of Famer last competed at the famed venue in December 2021 as he teamed with Darby Allin and CM Punk in victory over The Pinnacle’s MJF and FTR. As noted, Sting is in the midst of his retirement tour that will culminate in his final match at Revolution.
WrestleZone will continue to provide updates on AEW Revolution as more information becomes available.
